This is the beginning….small sustainable steps.

This is where alchemy really begins — not with changing the world around you, but with becoming more aware of what is already happening within you and who you are. 

As you grow, shift and evolve, the reality around you shifts. 

Internal matches external. (More on this in another episode)

This is the small beginnings of magic and alchemy. 

I tried to bring things as close to the beginning as I could because I am asked a bout this a lot. 

Magic and alchemy aren’t always easy and it will take lots of iterations of potions and mixtures to find what you are looking for. 

Be patient and please know everyone’s path is different. Yours won’t look like mine and mine won’t look like someone else’s. We can still use similar tools, but the path will look different and that it okay. We are all finding our unique magic.

Friday the 13th has a way of making us confront the things we’re secretly afraid of…and for many of us, love is one of them. With Valentine's Day being tomorrow, I thought this may the perfect time to cover this subject. 

Love is not something that can be quantified. 

It exists within us and all around us and who we are as human beings at our core. 

Society wants to place conditions on what love is and I call BS. 

This episode is about love, but not in the way you may think. 

This is a longer episode with a visualization at the end. If you choose the do the visualization at the end, please make sure you are in a place you feel supported and safe. 

Love doesn’t always look the way we were taught it should.
It isn’t always loud, passionate, or permanent in one expression.
Sometimes it transforms into friendship.
Sometimes it becomes distance with care.
Sometimes it remains quietly in the background as a sincere wish for someone to live a beautiful life.

I tried to take care when prepping and recording this one because I wanted to cover everything about the topic that I could in a short period of time.  

I go over everything from my perspectives, to loving as a mom, what society tries to tell us, the different types of love, intimacy and safety, the messy, very human nature of loving others while still learning to love ourselves, and everything in--between. 

Thank you for being here with me. 

Please know you are enough. You are loved. You are worthy of love in every version of you. I believe in you.

This episode came to me when I woke up at 2 something in the morning. I was like " I need to write this down". 

I sleepily thought "Are you serious?", as I wrote down the title and a couple of notes. 

Thresholds are being passed daily as I find the balance between staying present and geeking out with what is going on within me and around me. 

We have the choice to freeze our asses off and be uncomfortable, or, we can turn on the heat and decide to stop being stubborn for the sake of being stubborn. 

Life doesn't have to be a struggle or hard just because it always has been. 

Maybe turning on the heat instead of freezing will allow you the focus and allow the space for you to do what you need to, with more ease and less struggle. 

Each small sustainable step and inspired action, no matter how messy, is Inspired Perpetual Alchemy.

UPDATE: My friend reached out to re-explain the universe part of expansion. While I understood, my brain kind of sees things as they are in a constant state of expansion and contraction. While I understand the Universe is always expanding, according to the current scientific models, I explained it from my perspective. What I see is something like, what is in theory, the Big Bounce, which proposes many big bangs and big crunches. This makes the most sense to me personally because of how we expand and contract as energetic beings. If we are the universe experiencing itself, then it makes the most sense that if we are expanding and contracting, then the universe must be as well. I could absolutely be wrong and that is okay, but it is how I see things. That is the beauty of being human.  What my friend was explaining is more of what science says is true which is the Big Bang happened and now there is constant expansion. I wanted to clarify for any science nerds out there as I love science. This time I mixed science, theory and metaphysics. I misquoted and wanted to clarify. As always, question everything and find your truth.

This episode started with me rambling, as always. Then it lead to me talking about my car stereo being reset to neutral — and turned into a reflection on how often we live our lives tuned to other people’s settings.

When everything was restored back to baseline, the music sounded completely different. Clearer. Truer. More mine. And it made me realize how often we try to copy how others live, create, or move through the world — instead of honoring our own frequency.

You weren’t meant to live your life on someone else’s settings.
Your frequency matters — and it sounds best when it’s yours.
