We had an extensive, wonderful conversation with @calvinjwalker. We couldn't get all of it in during the podcast so we wanted to bring you a bonus episode. We go in-depth about acting and the film/tv landscape in Dallas, and what is lacking from the industry and the artists. We also talk more about his Arts with Impact work and how we got on the board. We talk about activism, Jesus, and storytelling. He also reveals the kind of movies he is tired of seeing and what he wants to see more of. This entire episode is a word for anyone who considers themselves an artist.
Calvin J Walker is an award-winning artist and activist. He's the CEO and founder of Watchmen Media Productions. Over the last decade, he's created and collaborated on a multitude of projects as a writer, singer, director, and producer. Most recently, he contributed to an anthology compiled by Chuck Brown of Expected End Entertainment. Nightmare in America is a collection of personal stories and essays about the experiences of black men in America. Calvin, also, serves on the advisory board of Art With Impact. He's a husband and a father of three.
