Toronto Sun Jays beat reporter Rob Longley joins the guys to discuss the disastrous year end presser held by Jays President Mark Shapiro and GM Ross Atkins.
The guys go off on some of the wilder and more bewildering quotes from the pair, the awful year the Jays just had, and where it goes from here. Ryan loses it a bit at one Shapiro quote in particular as Longley tries to explain what happened.
Following that, Ryan and Clarkey chat about the wild uptick in fighting and violence in the NHL pre-season.

Ryan welcomes on longtime WHL referee Steve Papp while Clarkey is away, and they dig into Steve's extensive officiating career in the Western Hockey League, one of the best junior leagues on earth under the Canadian Hockey League umbrella.
Steve shares stories of how he got his career started, run-ins with coaches, the ongoing shortage of young officials in sport due to abuse, as well as some of the big events he's worked including Memorial Cups and the World Juniors.
Ryan also touches on Steve's beloved Maple Leafs, as they get ever closer to another regular season. Steve touches on being a fan, the core 4, and finding ways to stay optimistic as Leafs Nation try to push through another year waiting for eventual playoff success.

Clarkey returns this week as he and Ryan welcome on Listowel Legionnaires U-22 Head Coach, Jeff Bannerman, after the team won the Midwestern Ontario Senior Baseball League's U-22 Championship.
Jeff discusses going through the challenges of the season, when the team had a shaky start and injury woes, followed by a great end of the season run and dominant walk through the playoffs with 6-0, 14-8 and 13-3 wins to capture the banner.
