Today, Stew is talking about an issue that comes up quite a bit... Instruction versus Education. We often confuse these terms as synonymous with each other, but believe me, they're not! Instruction tells you what to do and how to do it. We think that in education we are doing instruction, but instruction is merely a tool we use periodically. We've decided that instruction is the most important, but that overlooks the true need. Instruction pounds in, education draws out.
