Instruments in the Hands of the Redeemer | Esther 4:1-5:8

Listen Later

In a world of chaos and uncertainty, where do you fix your gaze? This Sunday's message from the book of Esther challenges us to stop looking around at our circumstances and start looking up to the One who holds our future.

Esther was faced with the total annihilation of her people, yet discovered that fear makes faith flourish when directed toward God, not our problems. Her declaration, "If I perish, I perish", wasn't reckless abandon, but radical trust. She fasted for three days, surrendered control, and stepped into danger because she finally understood: we're invincible until God calls us home.

The direction of your fear determines the depth of your faith. God isn't calling us to "no fear," but to a bigger, better fear: reverence for Him above all circumstances.
