Taylor Walsh is the founder and director of Whole Health ED, the Project for Whole Health Learning in K-12. He has been a strategic consultant and program developer in integrative health for over a decade. As an advocate for whole health learning, Taylor’s vision paves the way for students to leave secondary school with a competency in the factors that strengthen their own well-being and vitality, as well as the knowledge and tools for self-care to use as they grow and mature.

 

In today’s episode, host Shay Beider welcomes Taylor to talk about his efforts to begin incorporating comprehensive whole health programs in schools across the nation. Taylor discusses the importance of education surrounding nutrition and mindfulness to help students manage the many aspects of life that influence their health and wellbeing. He also shares how WholeHealthED partnered with the Whole Health Institute to create ‘Whole Health 4 You’ and how it gives children the opportunity to express their purpose through short, creative videos.
