Today is August 27, 2016. Travel back with me to this day in 1946. Once again in New York, we’re in the midst of a changing nation and owners and executives from all sixteen Major League Baseball teams are meeting to discuss the future of their sport. Specifically, whether or not that future should include black players. We’ll see some familiar faces here today. Unfortunately, it will be ugly side of some of these familiar faces, because today these men will find themselves on the wrong side of history as they vote against integration in baseball.
