At times what we see in the news is churches mishandling church funds, ministers embezzling church funds, and prosperity gospel preachers doing what they do for personal gain. This is why integrity and transparency are vitally important in ministry, so that the name of Christ will not be maligned in today's world. However, integrity and transparency in ministry is not something that just happens. Necessary steps must be taken to ensure there is mutual trust within the church.
