In this passage, we meet Ananias and Sapphira, a couple who lied about money they were donating to the church. Through their story, we see that sin and hypocrisy can creep into even the early church.

Pastor Nick reminds us that we must deal decisively with sin in our own lives and within the church. When confronted, we should repent, turn from sin, and turn back to the Lord.
