Introduced new IP Rights Enforcement Manual, designed to strengthen the overall business environment through a better understanding of IP issues & featured 6 distinguished speakers: Chris Wren (Executive Director of BritCham Indonesia); Nick Redfearn (Deputy CEO at Rouse); Ginny Ferson OBE (Head of Economics & Digital at British Embassy Jakarta); Neha Mehta (Team Lead at Financial Services & Intellectual Property Programme, Prosperity Fund SE Asia); Desmond Tan (Regional Adviser for South East Asia at The Intellectual Property Office (IPO UK) & Foreign and Commonwealth Office) & Pankaj Monga (Sr. Counsel Anti-Counterfeiting Asia Pacific at GSK).
The webinar covered essential themes on IP issues and protection as well as the contents and significance of the IP Enforcement Manual, aimed to provide practical answers & help build Indonesia’s IP coordination functions. The issue of counterfeiting, which proves to be an ongoing global concern, is also addressed from the South East Asian landscape.
