It is almost impossible today to not see the tensions between the races in our country.  As Christians, though, we cannot allow ourselves to be ripped apart by these differences: we must embrace each other, and we must become the united body of Christ.  We are each marked by the history of our race, but we don't have to stay there.  We can come together.  We can be one!
