Intentionality and the Value of Slowing Down with Carrie Caulfield Arick

Listen Later

Often, we as women feel the need to have it all together. Whether in our personal lives or our careers, this pressure never really seems to end. As marginalized folks, we know the importance of using our voices, the responsibility we have to our communities, and just how much representation matters. But it is easy to get so caught up in all the noise and get overwhelmed with our never ending to-do-lists that we forget to show up authentically as ourselves. What would it mean to slow down and take it one moment at a time? What if you were to give yourself space to exist outside of the boxes you “have” to tick to be worthy of success and a platform to share your voice? I believe that your message is your gift to the world and it deserves to be heard simply because it is yours. Today’s guest knows the value of slowing down, stepping outside of the boxes and making space to intentionally do what feels good. Join Carrie and I as we explore the life lessons she has learned and how these have helped her build a sustainable, successful business and community. Tune in to hear more about the importance of intentionality, why representation matters for marginalized communities, and the value of taking life one day at a time.
