Hello and welcome back fellow imperfectionists. On this episode I am joined by the passionate and knowledgeable Scott Jukes. Scott is director of his own company, Studio Jukes who provide digital design, marketing and video solutions. This episode was taken as a part of a wider discussion me and Scott were having, honestly i think every conversation me and Scott have could be an episode, he is a good friend of mine and just one of these really insightful and knowledgable people. But to that effect it deviates slightly from the usual format. My particular favourite is Scotts take on the very much digital era we are rapidly being forced into with less and less face to face contact allowed due to the pandemic. He knows so much about what really goes on behind some of our favourite online platforms. As a follow up, i did watch the social dilemma, the documentary that Scott references, it is well worth a watch if this kind of topic interests you it has really shown to me that actually a lot of us live in our own reality online, we tell social media what we like, don’t like along with other opinions and it generates content for us based on this, so we are unlikely to see anything that contradicts our values. No ones newsfeed is exactly as the same as someone else’s and this is definitely something i am keeping at the forefront of my mind moving forward. Additionally there has of course been further twitter drama with the politician we talk about as this was recorded a little while ago. In my free time at the moment i am studying loads about coding, psychology and social media and i feel this episode just ties so many elements of these nicely together!
