Hi, I'm Brynne B. Nelson, the host of The Tuesday Morning Principle Podcast. Our guest today is Sister Jenasa Staples, who is a Millennial and a Christian (though of a different denomination) with some beautiful thoughts for us. We are talking about inter-faith relations!
I have a book (The Tuesday Morning Principle: a Millennial's Guide to Daily Gospel Living) out on Amazon; the link is here:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TX15J3R/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+tuesday+morning+principle&qid=1611604440&sr=8-1
The Tuesday Morning Principle is the idea that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should be practiced on a daily, average, ordinary-life basis, as well as tips on how to do that.
Here's an overview of some of the questions we ask Jenasa:
One of our prophets, President Hinkley, once said: “We say to the people, in effect, you bring with you all the good that you have, and then let us see if we can add to it...” What are your thoughts on that?
While of course there are points of doctrinal nitty-gritty that people can argue about, what do you think are good fundamentals that all Christians—or, better yet, all people—can agree on?
Do you think inter-faith friendships are important to have? If yes, why?
There are plenty of misconceptions about Christianity. Is there anything you’d like to clear up for the listeners?
How can listeners find you?
Do you have any personal experiences or thoughts with inter faith relations that you would like to share?
Would you like to leave us with your testimony today?
Tune in for some wonderful thoughts!
