In light of the current environment the guys host their first ever book club in review of Charles Yu’s Interior Chinatown. The brother’s digest the book together highlighting pertinent key elements of the Model Minority Myth, representation and the grouping of all Asians together in America. Through their lenses they share their own experiences and understandings to better read and unpack the book, as well as talk more broadly on the stereotypes confining Asian Americans presently. Despite the strides of Asian Americans before them, the brothers have an important discussion on how Charles’ book goes beyond just filling an entertainment void in your book lineup.
