Interivew with Kineret Karin and Yoav Elgrich Tech For Good Asia

Welcome to a new episode of  The Entrepreneur Podcast, today we have with us Kineret Karin and Yoav Elgrichi co-founders of Tech For Good Asia.

Tech For Good (T4G) is an acceleration educational program that empowers startups that use technology in innovative ways, to tackle social issues in Singapore, Asia and the rest of the world.

Kineret  is a serial Entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in global project management, research and analysis, business development, e-commerce and sales and marketing. She has founded and successfully sold 2 companies and is the co-founder at Tech For Good here in Singapore, Thailand and soon in other countries in Asia.

Yoav co-founded and successfully sold two companies and owns several other online businesses. Yoav is a mentor at the Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Singapore Management University and an inventor of patents in the NFC and wearable devices domains. Yoav is also the CEO of YuuPay, a listed company in the Singapore stock market.

Tech For Good is an acceleration and educational program which helps and facilitates early stage startups that use technology in an innovative ways to tackle social issues.

Tech For Good is an acceleration and educational program which helps and facilitates early stage startups that use technology in an innovative ways to tackle social issues such as – aging population, empowering people with disabilities, nutrition and health, education, social inequlity, agritech, safer road travel, safer work environment and more. Participating companies can expect all the comforts of an accelerator: mentoring, coaching, access to tools and services, and office space. The accelerator will also connect startups to funding sources through its networks and through coaching on how to prepare for and pitch to investors and leading industry managers.

Tech For Good program was founded in Israel, known as “The Startup Nation”, 3 years ago by Mr. Nir Shimony and Ms. Omri Boral and was founded in Singapore by Ms. Kineret Karin and Mr. Yoav Elgrichi in 2016, in November, we launched Tech For Good in Thailand and in 2017 in a few more countries in Asia.

Open a Door to Israel is a multi-sensory exhibition that tell stories of life in Israel using cutting-edge technology which will be making its S.E Asia debut in Singapore from 9 – 23 Dec.

As part of its exhibition, Tech For Good (T4G), a unique acceleration and education programme for early stage startups will be showcasing their Tech For Good Demo Day on 12 Dec concurrently with the Open a Door to Israel exhibition. Entrepreneurs from the T4G August 2016 graduation cohort will be presenting their breakthrough innovation solutions that aim to tackle meaningful social issues.
