Interlogue: Racial Injustice Hits Home

Listen Later

It's been a difficult couple of weeks. Not only was a man murdered while in police custody, but that act of racial injustice seems to be the straw that has broken the camel's back, as protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and against police brutality have taken shape in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Paul and Carly are very passionate about standing with the oppressed and disenfranchised, and you can tune in to this week's episode to hear them discuss that. However, there is more to discuss here. Paul and Carly are also an interracial couple, living in a small, conservative town in rural Indiana - and that is not without its own difficulties. Catch it all here and this week's episode of Hoos-band and Wefe.
