My History Lives Here is a monthlong initiative dedicated to spotlighting Black history museums across the United States — and the communities, stories, and legacies they preserve. Kicking off Sunday (February 1), My History Lives Here will run throughout Black History Month, highlighting one museum each day. The project centers institutions that document Black life, culture, resistance, creativity, and achievement — from nationally recognized museums to deeply rooted local spaces that safeguard history at the community level.
