We have seen and heard in the news that Finland needs a lot of workers in the social and healthcare sector. Tampere has taken some steps to improve the situation. City of Tampere started a pilot program with a company called HSS last year to hire 34 nursing care assistants from Philippines to work in Tampere. Now, all of them have started working here, and we talked to 2 of them to find out how they heard about the job, what was the process and their experience from the moment they were selected to join the program to their experience working as a nursing care assistant in Tampere.
