Today is International Podcast Day, and to celebrate I'd like to share my current top ten podcasts and give you a quick tutorial on how you can share yours using the PocketCasts app for mobiles.

First, my top ten (in no particular order):

* Spooked.  From WNYC and Snap Judgement this is a really great seasonal, spooky podcasts running through Holloween.  Ooooohhhh!* Reveal. From The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX, this one offers some nice deep dives.* Intercepted.  The official podcast of The Intercept (those guys who published stuff they weren't supposed to) with Jeremy Scahill.* HowSound. From Transom and PRX.  An indispensable resource for podcasters.* Alternative Radio.  David Barsamian hosts this series of talks by folks like Noam Chomsky, Vandana Shiva, Bobby Seale. Quality.* Asi Como Suena. (Spanish) "We tell stories.  Stories of love and hate. Of crime, politics, corruption, daily life."* On the Media.  One of my long-time favs from WNYC.  Brooke Gladstone and Bob Garfield take a look at what the media gets right and so, so wrong.* Radio Dispatch. Excellent lefty analysis from siblings John and Molly Knefel.* Stuff They Don't Want You To Know. From HowStuffWorks this one is all about the conspiracy theories.* Duolingo Spanish Podcast. (English and Spanish) A bilingual podcast! Martina Castro brings some great stories from Latin America.
