God reveals himself in many ways, including inter-national events, movements, and divisions. The concept of nations and international in our common language has to do with nation-states, political entities with boundaries drawn on our maps. The language of the Bible for nations is the Greek word ethnos. Ethnos is not limited to boundary identified political entities, but people groups. There are many more people groups in this world than nations. Jesus speaks of these people groups in Matthew: "Nation will go to war against nation." Matthew 24:7 (NLT2)
