Dr. Joy Guthrie is a trailblazer and mentor to so many within the occupation of sonography. A lifelong researcher, she has dedicated her career to figuring out solutions to problems and answering important questions. Joy has knocking down doors and making things happen since her early years in the medical field. As the program director of the nations first advanced practice program, Joy continues to have a huge influence the field by developing the highly qualified advanced practice sonographers of the future.
