For International Women’s Day, Matthew and Cindy speak to leading academic, award-winning standards educator, and standards maker Dr Irina Brass.

Irina is an Associate Professor at UCL - in the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP) - teaching and researching in the field of regulation of emerging technologies.

She tells Matthew and Cindy about those standards education and research interests. And her motivations for getting involved in standards making, what the experience has been like, and the difference it has made to her professional life.
