I am so excited that we have completed 20 interviews for the podcast! We have had 4 interns, the Federal Reserve Bank, 13 different companies, 1 non-profit and 2 supporting companies.

What have we learned from the employers we interviewed?

1. Start small and simple
2. It takes a team
3. Have fun
4. Provide meaningful experiences
5. Use your CLE network and resources

What have we learned from the interns?

1. 1/2 returned to their previous companies for a 2nd internship
2. 1/2 chose to explore different companies and experiences each summer
3. Culture is "King" and makes all the difference
4. Interns need mentors to listen
5. Interns want and need to be pushed to learn and try new things
6. Increasingly interns need to start early in their college careers to best explore the opportunities in their field of study
