In difficult times, it’s easy to be overwhelmed.
We can get really worked up and stressed out, focusing on problems that we can’t really solve or things we can’t really address.
It’s then very easy for us to actually lose our focus and stop taking care of the people nearest us, those to whom we owe the most and who deserve our best efforts.
If I’m so worried about a problem somewhere, even a serious problem, that I neglect my wife, for example, or if I am tense and angry about something and that makes me tense with my students, I’m missing the plot.
The good news is that focusing on the people that are nearest to us, those to whom we owe the most, and the problems or challenges over which we actually have some control, will make us happier and more empowered and peaceful. And I want you to be happy! All my love, #yourinternetgrandpa #fyp #peace #growth #positivity
