I’ve studied with Sunni scholars, Shi‘a thinkers, Qur’an-focused teachers, and traditional fuqahā’ (Islamic jurists). I’ve also learned from Indigenous elders and seekers of truth from many paths. But I do not follow any group absolutely — I follow Allah, His Book, and the pattern of the Prophets.

I describe myself as intersectarian — not sectarian.
