In this episode (the 1st of 3 on our Intersectionality series), we chat with Gogo Londiwe Mntambo. She is a project manager at a Political Foundation, focusing on 'Democracy and Civic participation'. She is currently doing her MA in the Department of Politics and International Studies at Rhodes University, with a specific interest in African feminism and African womanhood. As well as statehood and security-ultimately looking at notions of peace and conflict. She obtained her BA and BA Honors at Rhodes University. In her Post-graduate years, she has started co-lecturing with other colleagues at an Honors and Undergraduate level, focusing on International Relations (IR) Feminist Theory and Liberation and Social Movements.
