This morning, we begin a new sermon series called "Intersections of Faith" in which we will explore and dialogue with several different faith traditions. It's the 15th anniversary of 9/11 and the connection between religion and violence is fresh in our minds. To start our exploration and dialogue, it's important to take a moment and recognize the prevalence of violence in the Christian tradition. What do we do with that? What do we do with passages in Scripture that command violence against others?
