Intervention Part 4 | Growing in Faithfulness

Listen Later

What does it look like to walk alongside the work of generosity—not just fund it?

In this episode, we explore faithfulness, the relational dimension of intervention. While focus and fruitfulness shape what we aim for and how we measure impact, faithfulness asks a deeper question: how do we show up with consistency, humility, and shared life alongside the people and organizations we support? Over time, generosity can mature from transaction into something far more formational for both giver and ministry.

In this episode, we explore:

  • Five stages of growth in faithfulness: transaction, stewardship, partnership, capacity building, and solidarity

  • Why most generosity begins as transactional—and why that isn’t a failure

  • How trust and continuity move us toward shared mission and mutual learning

  • The importance of investing not just in programs, but in organizational health

  • A vision of solidarity where givers and ministry workers labor together with care, vulnerability, and unity

As we grow in faithfulness, generosity becomes deeper than outcomes alone, moving into shared obedience as we labor side by side with doers in the world. We’re invited into relationships marked by patience, presence, and love, reflecting the kind of partnership God uses to shape both His work in the world and our hearts along the way.
