Dr. Douglas Brown serves as the dean and senior professor at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. We recorded this interview on the campus after holding our Annual Meeting there.
The topic is caring for aging parents as they come to the end of their days. In the interview, Dr. Brown provides insights from his own experience. In his article, he also shares helpful suggestions for both the aging parent and the caring adult children as they plan for next steps during the process.
Every one of us will face some version of this challenge at some point in our lives, perhaps caring for parents in our own homes, or assisting siblings who take on the role of primary care-givers.
