SABC1 introduces a brand-new Education drama series “Higher Grade” on Sundays at 19:30, starting from the 7th of September 2025.
The series puts a spotlight on the Mathematics curriculum. Math's has always been perceived as the most difficult subject and “Higher Grade” aims to encourage students to take up math's and
science and instill a sense of pride among teachers and teaching in general. The story is set in the township of Vosloorus in Ekurhuleni, centered around the Themba Lakusasa Secondary School.
Renowned thespian Mothusi Magano who stars in the drama series joins us on the line to unpack what we can expect.
