Thomas Ackels had just put up his Christmas decorations when he joined us to be one of the first guests for this project. Thomas has done two things that most people dream about: he's moved out West, and he's started his own company with his best friend. Thomas discusses that company - Offbeat Films - and talks about how he ended up a "jack of all trades" in the Pacific North West. Honest, funny, and energetic, Thomas touches on everything from his love of Gonzaga basketball to the three instruments he plays to the unexpected ups of running a business - and the unexpected downs of living so far from home.
