President Cyril Ramaphosa has been re-
elected as ANC president at the party’s 55th national
conference in Nasrec, Johannesburg. The new ANC
deputy president is Paul Mashatile, Gwede Mantashe

retains the party chairmanship, Fikile Mbalula is
secretary-general, the first deputy secretary-general is
Nomvula Mokonyane, the second deputy secretary-
general is Maropene Ramokgopa and Gwen
