Ashley Arevalo is a menstrual equity activist from Corpus Christi, Texas.
She got her start in menstrual equity when she started a Go Fund Me in November of 2016 to raise money to donate products to shelters. Since then she started her own PERIOD the menstrual movement chapter and has donated over 70,000 products to the Coastal Bend.
One of her greatest achievements is successfully petitioning to get free menstrual products at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
In 2020, she stayed busy by starting her own non-profit called Crimson Cause and meeting with legislators virtually to introduce a bill to end the tampon tax in Texas.
In her free time, she loves watching horror movies and shopping for vintage clothes.
