In this highlight, Peter Greco learns about Vision Australia’s Personal Support services from Laura Garcia. As a Vision Australia library member, you can request up to 360 pages to be converted to braille, audio, large print or e-text per financial year for free. 

Laura has a daughter with low vision and she recently received some tactile images of artworks by Andy Warhol and Van Gogh to help with a school assignment. (Please note that education material is not generally covered by the free personal support service, but sometimes we can do supplementary material that the school cannot provide).

The tactile images mentioned in this podcast were produced by Vision Australia's alternate format production team with thanks to the Australian Government Print Disability Grant. Vision Australia Library members can receive up to 360 print pages converted to the accessible format of their choice for free. Library membership is also free for members of the community living with print disability.
