Ned Brewer Maiga (Hawthorns 2019 AFL Blind Best & Fairest) drops in on the Vision Sports program to speak of the upcoming AFL Blind ‘Come & Try Clinic’ taking place in Tasmania on Tuesday 4th of February. This is the second appearance Ned has had on the program, the first being in December 2019 when Vision Australia Radio broadcast live from the Disability Sports and Recreation Festival on Crown Riverwalk.

Ned is an inspiring young sports person with a great story to tell, part of his story is shared here in this podcast. Listen to learn how loosing 80% of his vision in just one week as a 19 year old didn't stop Ned from jumping on the field and playing within a professional competition with the support of the Australian Football League. Ned is helping to make the sport more inclusive and diverse and we look forward to supporting him and the AFL across 2020 in promoting the AFL Blind competition.
