The fate of the Macufe Festival 2022
is hanging on a balance after the Bloemfontein High Court
interdicted the festival. The judge found the awarding of the
Macufe 2022 tender to be unlawful. We now speak to the
consortium that took the Free State Arts and Culture
Department to court, Mosa Likobo who is the Director at DS
Consortium. We reached out to the Free State Department
of Arts and Culture but they haven’t responded to us.
