On a very special episode of Cinema Royale, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Danielle MacDonald, breakout star of the crowd-pleasing rap drama, PATTI CAKE$. Along with debuting director Geremy Jasper, she talked about walking into the role without knowing much about hip-hop, and what it took for her to gain the confidence needed to spit hot fire like she does in the film.
