Tommy Rodriguez is a multiple-time pan-american champion, world champion, and Euro champion in both Gi and Nogi. Although he has a plethora of accolades under his belt and multiple medals in the highest platforms of competition, from his vantage point, the medals are the result of chasing his real goal - taking his grappling prowess and technical understanding to the highest level possible. 

Tommy, rather than chasing medals chases growth, and views competition as a tool to advance his progression. In this episode, amongst other things, Tommy shares his point of view on taking your jiu-jitsu growth into your own hands, teaching, and some anecdotes of competition past.
