Alex Gebrat aka DJ Waves is a Perth-based DJ. Waves’ music and fashion taste are influenced by the golden era of hip-hop culture mostly 90s artists such as Biggie, Lauren Hill, Nas, Jay Z, Premiere, Wutang, and Dianjelo. He works part-time at culture kings in Perth where he started off in retail but then became the in store DJs. Waves also studies Engineering at Uni.
