Sophie Contrusceri is a multidisciplinary artist and creative who is known for her distinct sense of style. This is what drew my interest to Sophie (as she’s also known to model). I was shown her sketch book she was using for her fashion degree and I was blown away. Not only because I’m so used to using and seeing digital devices to plan creative projects, (and her book was completely analogue) but because of the Immense detail and passion for defining the art direction of her projects. Within this book she showcases cuttings, paintings, textures, words it’s pretty incredible. This detail then follows into her garment designs where she may have unique one off cuts that use multiple recycled fabrics with different textures throughout the piece. She also writes, plays music and is keen on photography as well. Yeah it’s safe to say there is a lot to Sophie.
