In this week’s episode we talk to April Wire and Zoe Richmond with the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT). MCDOT was recently recognized by the Metro Phoenix Chapter of WTS with the Innovative Solutions Project of the Year award. Not only were they recognized locally but the Bell Road Adaptive Signal Project was recognized by WTS nationally for the innovative, collaborative, approach they took to optimize one of the most heavily traveled corridors in the Metropolitan Phoenix Area. April Wire is the Project Manager for the Bell Road project and Zoe Richmond is one of MCDOT’s Communications leaders.
