Deb and Darrin sit down with Ashley Bryan- an author, illustrator, puppeteer, and professor.

Mr. Bryan was the first African-American children's author and illustrator to be published in the US, and is the recipient of numerous awards- including 10 Coretta Scott King Awards. Over his 96 years, he has published over 50 books, including a new book about his time in World War 2.
