Well, reasoning that he didn’t wish to harm himself, but he had to reassess some things.
How? Well he reads a thought provoking book, “Lost Connections: Why You’re Depressed and How to Find Hope” by Johann Hari https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1632868318/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=cultur011-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=1632868318&linkId=3ab6fb2a3946d2e9ea5b1090718a9c31, and started to ask himself some important questions.
For instance: “What would life look like if I was thriving?”

Found Three Focus Areas, “Thrive, Connect, Contribute” That led to 10 Places in his life that these Areas touched.
Looked around at trends, Set Measurable Goals with specific steps, and got to work.
The resulting year was his“Year of Personal Bests”
