Denisia was born and raised in New London, CT and moved to Jacksonville in 2005 due to her former spouse being in the Marine Corps. Denisia got the idea one day to write a children's book by watching how her 6 year old interacted with others at the park, it was entertaining so she had to write about it and the rest was history. Since she had a Military family she couldn't go without writing about the Children's experiences with deployments.
