Interview with DJ Rico Banks

Made Famous TV continues to add to its content database, this time catching up with DJ Rico Banks, alternately known by his Rico Panacea moniker.  In an in-depth conversation, the Mississippi native discussed growing up in a family of disc jockeys, and how he ultimately decided to experiment with the turntables.  A well-versed veteran in the world of hip-hop, Banks gave insight on some of the inner-workings of the urban side of the music industry.  He also gave anecdotes of a variety of experiences he’s had while working with different artists in the music industry, including Big K.R.I.T. early in his career and discovering the late Lil’ Lonnie prior to his rise to fame, and witnessing his acceleration up until his untimely passing.  DJ Rico Banks doesn’t shy away from his outspokenness in this interview.  He is a candid voice that balances both sincerity and audacity.  Watch the full interview exclusively on Made Famous TV via Youtube.com
