Dr. Pacsay-Tomassich Orsolya is the State Secretary for the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy and the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
In this podcast edition, we discuss the daily tasks and activities of the State Secretary, memorable moments of her career, being a woman in the field of public policy and evaluate the above-mentioned programmes while introducing the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship, a new initiative to help members of the Hungarian diaspora to “reboot their roots”.
The State Secretary also shares her opinion on what it takes to be a good diplomat, and what Hungarian nationality means to her, especially in connection with the Hungarian Revolution and Independence of 1848-49, celebrated today.
