Evan Parker (Bristol, 1944) is one the pioneers of the European improvised music scene. Since 1960s, when he was a member of John Stevens' Spontaneous Music Ensemble, his career has been a continuum of improvisation and experimentation.

We met him at the Vic Jazz Festival (Catalonia), where he played alongside Agusti Fernández and Ivo Sans.
