He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft and went on to play for the New York Giants, where he won two Super Bowl championships in 2008 and 2012 and finished his career with the back with the Raiders. After retiring in 2014, Boothe continued to stay involved with the league by becoming the director of the Management Council at the NFL.
