In this episode, I sit down with Giuliana to talk about things that we have started noticing in the BE classroom. Giuliana Azevedo is a lifelong learner, a passionate educator, and a former journalist. She specializes in both English Language Teaching and Strategic Communication Management. She also holds a degree in Languages (Portuguese-English) and in Social Communication/Journalism from UFRJ as well as the CELTA. Currently, she is working as a private teacher and in partnership with business language schools.  

In this episode, we dove into the topics of: 

- her background in Journalism and how those principles applied in teaching 

- building teachers' confidence  

- building students' confidence 

- working with students on presentations and common things with a focus on communication strategies as well as building up language
